Animal welfare: Ensuring animal welfare throughout our supply chain.

At Lactalis, contributing to animal welfare is both a matter of responsibility and a key issue for the sustainability of our activities. As the world's leading dairy group and third largest milk collector, we pay particular attention to all animals in our supply chain, especially the five million dairy animals that produce the milk we process every day (cows, buffalo, sheep, and goats). We fully recognize and respect them as sentient beings, capable of feeling emotions and entitled to good physical and mental health: contributing to their welfare is our responsibility.
